Name: Villevalo
Class: Warrior Race: Night Elf Level: 80 Email: viva_la_heartagram at yahoo.com Player Age: 23 1 - Why do you want to join Fortis? My current guild has a lot of great people in it, however the raid times will not work for me as it will take away precious sleeping time before work early in the morning. I know several people in Fortis as well as raid with a few in totc10 on Wednesday's with my druid. Fortis is proven to be a strong guild. I want to progress through end-game content as do most raiders, and this guild is obviously capable of that. 2 - Who in Fortis can vouch for or recommend you? All raid applications will be reviewed, however we suggest 2 active members in good standing to vouch for your application. Ottisitto, Pitchblack, Nissi, Huminahoohoo, Cruality, Plums, Tobiquer. 3 - Fortis raids on Mon, Tues, Wed, & Fri from 7pm to 11pm server time. Recruits are expected attend as many raids as possible barring extenuating situations. Can you commit to this schedule? Yes I can commit to this schedule. 4 - Describe your spec in detail and the reasons you chose the talents you did. If you are not using a common raid spec, please explain how your spec can compete with other raid specs. My spec is quite basic, ditching puncture and focused rage for imp Shield Wall and 3 points in cruelty. I chose cruelty over deep wounds as I think that having more crits over a minor bleed gets more tps, at least in my experience. 5 - Please list or link your gear here. If you are applying as a tank, please list your max resist for each class of magic (Arcane, Fire, Frost, Nature, Shadow). Left Blank 6 - What raiding experience have you had? Describe the zones you’ve been in and the roles you’ve played during the raid. I started raiding in Vanilla, although during that time I was only able to successfully raid MC/ZG. I did go through the others in BC, just as everyone did. In BC, I cleared Karazhan, SSC, TK, BT, Hyjal. Never stepped foot into Sunwell though. In Wrath, I have cleared Nax10/25, Uld10/25 (excluding Algalon and Yogg, current guild can't seem to figure Yogg out,) ToTC10/25, Heroic ToTc10 through twins, a billion attempts on heroic beasts 25. I have tanked through all of this. I also play my druid quite often, and with that I have healed TK, Hyjal, BT in BC and everything in Wrath that my warrior has done. 7 - You must download, install, and use Ventrillo. Are you willing and able to do this? I do have Ventrillo installed and used avidly. 8 - Does anyone else have access to your toon? If so, who? Yes, my uncle does have access to my toon, however never gets on it. 9 - You must check our forum for information and updates at least every other day, are you willing and able to do this? Absolutely. 10 - Do you understand our DKP system and do you agree with it? Please explain how you feel about it. If you haven’t read it yet, please do so before answering this question. (http://fortis.dkpsystem.com/dynpage.php?id=34) This DKP system is very close to the current system used in my current guild. I do like that system as well as understand how it works. 11 - What country do you live in? What time zone? I live in U.S.A., central time zone. 12 - What guilds have you previously been part of and for how long? Why did you leave or are planning to leave? (And I mean ALL guilds.) I started with Zero Tolerance as my very first guild in Vanilla. I left to be able to raid as I was a very new player. I went to Clear Blue Dragons, which was clearing MC with an alliance between two other guilds. I stayed there until shortly after hitting 70. I then went to Forlorn. They broke up soon after that. At that time I went to Redemption. I was there to the end. In Redemption, I was also the Warrior Class Lead as well as Tank Lead. After Redemption, I joined Fortis on a guest status. I left after an issue with one member of which I would love to be able to mend and clarify the situation that caused the issue. It was a very minor issue and I believe to be a misunderstanding. After that, I put my warrior in my personal guild Bleed Well. Also, into Wrath I played my DK for a while. That toon went to Absolution (break off of Redemption.) I left there as it flat out sucked and the better and more respected players had left. I then went to Heaven. I raided with them through OS3D. After that I left as I stopped playing for about two months. I came back to level toons. I established my warrior as my main again. I went to Resolute Knights. I left this guild as there were way to many issues and poor raiding. After RK, I went to Not Too Late. I played my druid/warrior/DK in that guild until I decided I wanted to only play my warrior. My warrior is my official main, with my druid being my main alt. Raiding on my warrior is first priority for me, unless my druid is needed in a raid. I am currently still with Not Too Late as an officer and Tank leader. I am looking to leave as my work schedule will cause some problems for me. I will need to wake up at 6:00 a.m. With raids ending an hour earlier, that will leave extra time for me to sleep without issues. 13 - What other classes have you experienced extensively? What alts do you have? I play my druid a lot, usually as restoration or feral tank. I currently have balance as my offspec just to test it out. I also have my 80 DK of which I did a lot of progression with Heaven before Ulduar. I have an 80 shadow priest, and an 80 prot/holy paladin on horde side, in Hell as a guest. I also have a 71 mage, 72 rogue, 65 shaman, and 64 hunter. 14 - Are you transferring from another server? Why did you transfer or are you planning on transferring? I am not transferring from another server. 15 - Any tidbits of information you would like to add? Maybe something about yourself or your RL interests? I work full-time, I have a three year old daughter(Redemption guys/gals should remember her,) and I am doing full-time college online. None of this interferes with raids however. My interests outside of all of that is my Playstation 3, and music. Games and music = life.

I left one question blank as I had issues with the Armory.
This is my Armory link. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Malygos&n=Villevalo I don't have any resist gear as there is no use for it right now. I saw some craftables for 3.3 with nature resist on it and I will definitely be getting them made if needed.

We currently have 4 tanks on the roster, and 2 back-ups with tank-specs as their offspec.
Generally, we don't take more than 3 tanks to the raid, meaning one sits out or is DPSing. Sometimes, we don't even take more than 2 to the raid and in extremities we only take 1 (example: hard mode hodir). Our current tank line-up includes 2 prot warriors, 1 prot paladin, and a feral druid. Our backup includes a ret paladin with a tank set, and a DK with a tank set. As you're aware of the current warrior state, despite 'being able to tank everything', we have a somewhat harder time surviving at the start of every new progression content and even into farm -- there's an obvious slight advantage with other tank classes. Either way, at this current time we usually have one of each tank class in the raid, with the other sitting out or playing another role. In short, I've had a brief discussion with FX and a few others prior to this post. We really don't need another pure tank class/spec (I say this, because we are potentially still looking for a feral off-spec, and sorts) be it a warrior or anything else. While some days/weeks appear to be weird, we generally have at least 3 tanks on in some form or another. I'm sure another CA or officer will explain further if they see it necessary.
